I have a Razor E300 scooter and it's not working. Here's what happened: everything was working fine. I charged my scooter up and was riding it. I rode it until it stopped. So, I plugged it back into the charger. When I unplugged it, it didn't work anymore. There was no crash, I just have no idea what happened.

Is there a problem with the battery? Cause I was thinking of getting a new one?? But if you know what might be wrong with it, and it doesn't require a battery, than please let me know, because I don't want to spend $50 on a useless new battery. Thank you soooo much for answering!!!!!

There is a fuse that needs to be replaced. Look by the battery

What is the mileage of Honda Shine (India)?

Honda Shine is the 125 CC bike from Honda motorcycle & scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI). It boasts a mileage of 65 kmpl. I would like to know whether it really gives such a mileage in Indian road conditions.

yes its true that it gives a mile age of 68 kmpl on highway when riding it in properway way....
it gives 60 kmpl in city
it roughly gives 55 kmpl when ride very very roughly,,,,

I need a different scooter/motorcycle?

OK, here's the thing. I have a Honda C70, runs great and all that. I ride it back and forth to work and run errands on it. I love the 98 MPG I get with it, but I need some more power. There's a fairly big hill on the way to work where the speed limit is 40. Depending on the wind, sometimes can't keep up with traffic, even going flat-out. Since all of my riding so far is in the city, I don't want to have to shift too much. So:
I'd like a cycle with 4 speeds or less. Don't want a sport bike. Would like to get semi-fantastic mileage. Must be Japanese, American or English. I will not buy a Chinese pile of crap so please don't suggest it. (Yeah, I be hatin'. Sorry.) Somewhere around $1000 US. I know the Shadow 600 has four speeds but it's out of my price range and I prefer air-cooled. Cosmetic condition not that important. Any ideas?

See if you can find a used Honda Rebel or Nighthawk. 234cc, classic commuter bikes, simple and reliable. Five speeds, which you'll get used to. Mileage won't be as fantastic as your 70, but you'll ride in a bit more dignity and safety. I nearly bought one. They're expensive new: MSRP=$3200, but they've been out for a number of years now so there should be used ones around.

Would this be too much weight for a Honda Fit?

I am thinking about getting a scooter and a hitch mounted rack for the back of my Honda Fit like the one shown here:

but would 275 lbs (the weight of the scooter and hitch combined) on the back end of a Fit be too much for it to handle?

I think it is within the weight range, but you would be compressing the hell out of the rear springs. If you put anything more inside, especially in the rear, the tires would probably start rubbing the wheel wells. I'd consider getting some stronger springs (probably have to get them custom made).

Disadvantages and Advantages of mobility scooters

There are many people who have problems getting around both in their house or in the outside world and they have contemplated purchasing a mobility scooter for themselves. But when it comes to such an important decision they are careful about what they choose and wonder whether or not it will actually help. It is true that there are a few disadvantages to them - but the advantages far outweigh these.

There are two choices to choose from for people who need help walking and getting around; a wheelchair and an electric mobility scooter. Those who are easily weakened or do not have the proper shoulder and arm flexibility will have problems operating a wheelchair. That is why these scooters are so appealing to them because they require less work.

The seat swivels in order to make it easier for users to get in and out of. To get in a wheelchair you have to first move the foot rests up and then back down once you are in. Often time it is difficult for people to do this.

So far the advantages of electric mobility scooters is the fact that they require less work physically. Another reason why people choose them is that they look nothing like wheelchairs. Many people feel that wheelchairs is a sign of old age and many of us don’t like to admit to that or are not close to it.

However, like with many things that are disadvantages that need to be taken into consideration before you purchase a model for yourself. The main concern that people has is the cost that they have to pay for the right model. While mobility scooters are becoming more popular it does not mean that they are more affordable. They are also not always covered by insurance companies or health care agencies.

It is true that these scooters can take away many of the manual strength problems that come with having a wheelchair - but it still requires a bit of strength from people. Because of where the steering controls are located it requires the user to drive in an upright position. This requires hand, shoulder, and upper body strength.

Mobility scooters are longer and this can limit where a person can go. Also you may find that certain lifts and wheelchair accesses cannot be used by those on a scooter. If you plan to use it in a city that has improper curb cuts then you will find that the low clearance on a mobility scooter can make it almost impossible for you to drive.

These disadvantages do not apply to every mobility scooter model. It all depends on the manufacturer and the model that you choose from them. In order to know which scooter will best for you do your research and ask any question that would make this easier.
